Ella tiene el papel protagónico, una niña normal y corriente llamada Miley Stewart de 14 años de edad, que en orden para mantener su vida normal y amistades, pasa por difíciles situaciones ya que tiene una doble vida secreta como la famosa cantante de música Pop, Hannah Montana y tratando de que la gente no descubra que, debajo de su pelo y maquillaje, Hannah Montana es en realidad la niña de al lado. El papá de Miley en la vida real, el cantante de música country Billy Ray Cyrus, también interpreta en escena a su papá y a su manager. Miley nació el 23 de Noviembre de 1992 en Nashville, Tennessee. Miley desarrollo un amor por los escenarios después de ver a su papá Billy Ray Cyrus, actuando y cantando. Después de aparecer varias veces como extra en los proyectos de actuación de televisión de su papa, Miley obtuvo su primer chance de actuar sin la presencia de su padre en la serie de televisión “Doc”. Desde ese momento hizo apariencias como invitada estrella en “Love Boat: The Next Wave” y en la película de Tim Burton: “Big Fish”
Actualmente reside en Los Angeles, California junto a sus padres, sus hermanas Brandi y Noah, sus hermanos Trace y Braison y su perro Loco. Sus 7 caballos, sus otros 3 perro y sus 2 gatos quedaron en Nashville al cuidado de su abuela, cosa muy difícil para Miley ya que disfruta montar a caballo en sus tiempos libres. Ahora en su tiempo libre en Los Angeles, se dedica entre otras cosas, a hablar por teléfono con los amigos que dejo en Nashville. También sigue los pasos de su padre escribiendo música, tocando guitarra y cantando. Sus influencias musicales son las cantantes de música Pop Kelly Clarkson, Hilary Duff y Ashley Simpson. Además, también disfruta bailar y ser porrista.
